During that time, Impact Interactions team members helped over 40 organizations achieve specific business goals using interactive strategies and tactics including social media, online communities, and solid reporting of results. Through our work, we’ve developed many of the best practices in use today. While others blog or tweet about it, we’ve done it.
Our Founder and President, Mike Rowland is one of the early Internet veterans in the interactive world. Since 2003, he has built an impressive client roster for the company including engagements with Cisco, AARP, NetApp, the American Chemical Society, SAP, NEA, NEFE, Intel, and many others. Mike is widely viewed as a thought leader in the online community and social media industry. A frequent speaker at global conferences on Social Media and Online Communities, Mike challenges organizations to move beyond the hype of to focus upon realizing significant business results. But our experience is much more than a single person and goes back to the early days of online communities when a company’s choice was limited to listservs, early bulletin boards, and chat rooms. We’ve watched as the available offerings expanded to include blogs, social networks, videos, photosharing and third party offerings like Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Slideshare, and Facebook.
